Show was sold out so I'll be checking Helmet in DC tomorrow. As for the new album I think it was rather lacking, since when did Page Hamilton think he could sing. Weak. They need to get back to the raw growls and shit. Hopefully it will be better live.
As for new albums check Mastodon's disc, brutal cd tons of guitarts, drums and headbanging. Neil from Clutch handles the vocal on the first track.
Also for some laughs and political satire check out the Jello Biafra/Melvins album "Never Breathe What You Can't See". Adam Jones from Tool play guitar on a number of tracks. Songs include, "Yuppie Cadillac", "McGruff the Crime Dog", etc... Good stuff.
